Owning a business is not for the faint of heart.  It is stressful juggling all the priorities, employees, and trying to grow the company. Then there is the personal life, running the household, raising the kids, school and sports events and holidays. No wonder people feel overwhelmed. When I feel stressed I like to take a time out and reflect on what I am grateful for in my life.  This helps me to manage my stress and put things into perspective.

What are you lucky for?  Here is my list.

  • My health
  • My family
  • My friends
  • My dog and animal companions
  • My home – as a child my family was homeless
  • My education
  • My sense of humor
  • My company
  • My employees
  • My property management colleagues
  • My world travels
  • My reliable car

I am lucky to have NARPM and my colleagues in my life.  Both have shaped the company I own, the people I hire and my attitude of giving back to those in my community and my profession.

I look forward to seeing you at the Broker/Owner Retreat.
